The cartoon to the left was published a few years ago in Good Housekeeping magazine. I think I got the idea from my wife who worked downtown at Lincoln Financial Group during that time.

It seemed like she would come home almost every day with stories about how her computer had stopped working that day. From there, I'm pretty sure the famous line from Cool Hand Luke just popped into my head.

Good Housekeeping magazine is great because they buy only "first rights" to cartoons, which means cartoonists are free to eventually sell the same cartoon to other publications.

I haven't tried submitting this cartoon to any other magazine for quite sometime. So long in fact, that I decided last weekend that I needed to update the computer monitor to a flat screen model, if I wanted it to look current. Ahh, the wonders of Photoshop!
